...We first acquired the land for the development in 2005 and finished
the infrastructure for the project a year later. While we were trying
to sell lots as "Build Ready" pads for custom builders and people
looking to build their own custom house projects, we started looking
around the Valley at what builders were offering as custom homes. We
rapidly came to the conclusion that the current offering in the custom
home market was greatly lacking a high end that met our specification,
detail and amenities that we were doing just as a remodel product. So
putting the wheels in motion we made the decision to build the
quintessential custom home. Upgraded everything over normal builder
semi-custom and most full custom offering and still manage to do it for
the same price point that other builders are offering smaller homes on
smaller lots with much less built-in feature as "Standard" offerings.
